General Voter Information

  • Voters must submit an Absentee Ballot Request in order to vote via mail.

  • Voters may submit their Absentee Ballot Request online, or mail or hand-deliver a Request to their County Clerk's office. Request forms are available for download and printing here.

  • You can check if you are registered to vote on the Secretary of State’s website here.

Polls open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.

Idaho Small Business Development Council

The Idaho Small Business Development Center empowers small business success by providing no-cost, confidential consulting and low-cost training to entrepreneurs throughout Idaho. Review their most recent statewide report here.

Idaho Department of Commerce

Idaho DOC can help you start or grow a business, assist with trade/export issues, provide training resources, foreign direct investment and Idaho Global Entrepreneurial Mission (IGEM), a grant program that funds commercialization studies where university researchers and business experts partner together to bring viable technologies to market.

Regional Economic Development Councils

These regional organizations work to strengthen local governments, economies and communities by facilitating regional cooperation, creating and implementing comprehensive development strategies, leveraging public and private resources, and developing public infrastructure investments that result in stronger regional and statewide economies.

Individual districts support business recruitment, retention and expansion efforts by providing technical assistance, infrastructure development, business financing for start-up and expansion projects, property leasing and referrals to other support organizations and resources.

ASSISTANCE FOR THOSE IN NEED

Idahoans look out for each other and we work hard to make sure we take care of those in need, whether it’s delivering hot meals to senior citizens, making sure children have food to eat. If you or someone you know needs assistance we have resources around the state to help in times of need.

MEALS FOR CHILDREN

Idaho Food Bank

Free meals for children are available at approved sites across the state. Children ages 1-18 may pick up meals at any site, regardless of enrollment. Children must be physically present to receive a meal. Please contact individual sites for meal service times. To locate locations with free meals for children during the summer please go to the USDA Child Nutrition Program.

Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels provides both nutritious meals and emotional support for qualified homebound seniors and disabled individuals. Dedicated staff contributes to the overall health and safety of clients by supplying nutrition education and information, conducting regular safety checks, and referring individuals to other community-based programs to assist with additional needs they may have.
